On Dec. 3, 2021 at 7 p.m., four new artists will showcase their talents at The College of Saint Rose located in Albany, New York. These artists include Nyus, Adriana Loner, Rhakim Ali, and Randall Reeds. These four artists have been working since September of this year, with various teams within Saint Rose’s Artist Management class to elevate their craft to the next level. The Artist management class is designed to strengthen skills in communication and problem solving.

The event will be taking place in Studio G3 of the Hearst Centre for Communications and Interactive Media, 996 Madison Avenue.

Nyus Samuels is a 20 year old rap-sung artist who studies at The College of Saint Rose. He blends hip-hop and R&B styles with a sultry combination of Latin Trap and Afro-pop beats. Adriana Loner, a junior, is revitalizing 90’s grunge and providing an innovative take on the genre. She brings a unique aesthetic to the table. Duvon Turmon, also known as Rhakim Ali, is a senior. He has a mastermind flair for free-styling and rapping. Randall Reeds, a junior, will be debuting his stellar performance skills with a band for the first time. A piano virtuoso, Randall will be displaying his story-telling skills in a refreshing way.

[On artist Nyus] “I love the way his voice sounds when I’m listening to his music. He sounds like one of the big name rappers or R&B singers like Lucky Daye.”

In early September of this year, The College of Saint Rose’s Artist Management class held auditions for artists in need of management. The artists, mentioned previously, were selected as a result of their extraordinary talents. They each have been working with respective teams in order to develop their goals they have set to achieve by the end of the semester. Get ready to hear some beautiful music that has been crafted with months of preparation, only if you are up for it. For any furhter questions contact Kaylee Boerner from the Artist Management Class.
