Do No Harm is former communications professor Gary McLouth’s new collection of short stories.

“The first story in this fine collection is called ‘Conversation,’ and that’s [just] what the book creates: an ongoing, in-depth, artistically arranged and thoughtful conversation between the voices of the father and son who serve as alternate narrators throughout,” said Hollis Seamon, a professor in the English department, according to a press release for the collection.

Formerly a communications professor at Saint Rose who retired from teaching magazine and TV production courses in 2011, McLouth now writes out of his home in Fort Myers, Florida and teaches at Edison State College.

Do No Harm follows two previous collections, Natural Causes (2008), and Death and Other Frustrations. McLouth has been published in a variety of magazines and journals including Eureka Literary Magazine and the Cimarron Review.

Do No Harm is listed at $15 and is available in the Saint Rose Bookstore or online at amazon.com and tbmbook.com.
