The Creation of the Saint Rose Sign at Partridge and Madison

As occurs annually, the College accomplishes a great deal of construction work over the summer break; summer 2011 was no different. The College commenced with the demolition of buildings to make way for Centennial Hall and made major renovations to Alumni Hall. One of the smaller projects the administration undertook was the creation of news signage around campus to better assert the College’s presence. New signs were erected at the intersections of Partridge St. at Madison and Western Avenues, a containing wall was erected at Madison and Partridge and brick pillars with the College’s logo were erected along the College’s northern border next to the sidewalks which follow Madison and Western Avenues.

These pictures chronicle the construction progress of the boundary wall and sign at the intersection of Partridge St. and Madison Ave.
