New Tobacco-Free Policy Signage

PUBLISHED OCTOBER 18, 2011

The College of Saint Rose will be going tobacco-free beginning January 1, 2012. This means that there will be no use of tobacco products allowed on campus. Below is one of three signs that will be posted around campus, especially in those areas where tobacco products are used the most. They will serve as a warning and a reminder for those who may not be aware. So keep your eyes out for these signs and remember to think twice before lighting up beginning January 1, 2012!

The Tobacco-Free Task Force will be holding an afternoon discussion on October 17 to discuss ways to achieve a successfully tobacco-free campus. Due to medical reasons, Ty Patterson, Director of the National Center for Tobacco Policy, is unable to lead this discussion. Larry Hardy, representing RPI, will take his place and describe his experiences with the policy.
