A wounded man was discovered in a vehicle by an Albany Police officer after being a shooting that occurred on the 100 block of Ontario Street. The victim, who sustained a single gunshot wound to the torso, was treated at the scene. Once discovered, he was transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital and his injuries were determined to be non-life threatening.
At the time of discovery (2 a.m. on Aug. 25), the 27-year old victim was attempting to drive himself to the hospital.
