Madison Avenue was the sight of heavy police activity after a civilian’s car caught fire in the road. On Wednesday, Nov. 8 just outside the Chinese Christian Church at 901 Madison Ave. a car was seen emanating smoke and flames. Staff Writer Emma Tuey arrived on the scene shortly after the fire began to request a statement from officers and the car owner. Both declined to comment.
