Albany police are currently attempting to identify a suspect in reference to an assault that occurred at approximately 4 a.m. on Saturday Sept. 14 on the 200 block of Western Avenue.
Officers responded to a report of assault from the 19-year old female victim from Albany. She told officers that an unknown male grabbed her from behind and pushed her to the ground.
The victim was treated by medical personnel and transported to Albany Medical Center Hospital with minor injuries.
