Students compete for Rose Rock slot

Annually, Saint Rose students compete to open for the headliner at Rose Rock. The winner is decided by an audience vote battle of the bands. This year the event wa called “November to Remember” and was held in St. Joe’s Auditroium at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 8.

The artists competing were Waitress, German Dirty Talk, Carribean Crisis, Kyla Silk, Kayla Carpenter, and Searching for Satelites. Each artist perfomed approximatley a 30 minute set. The different performers showcased the diverse talents of the Saint Rose music department.

Russian Folk and Punk Rock fusion band Carribean Crisis won by a singular vote impressing audience members with their talent and energy.
