Saint Rose Men’s and Women’s Swimming and Diving at the NE-10 Championships

The Saint Rose Swimming and Diving Team competed at the 2020 Northeast 10 Conference Championships on Feb. 6 through 9 in Worcester, Mass. Colleen Quaglia finished second in the 500 freestyle, second in the 100 back and is seated first in the 200 fly. Aleksander Stosik placed second in the 200 free and second in the 100 free. Roko Jelavic placed third in the 100 breast along with Gabrialla Ficano who placed second in the 100 breast. Freshman Brenna Hayes placed fourth in the 100 fly. Tierra Damico placed third for 3 meter and fourth for 1 meter diving in the meet as well.

The Women’s and Men’s 200 Individual Medley placed third and second. The women’s team was comprised of Colleen Quaglia, Gabrialla Ficano, Brenna Hayes, and Laura Borrelli, and they broke the school record. The men’s relay was with Eric Romero-Gomez, Roko Jelavic, Charles Nicholas, and Alexander Stosik. The team has been competing for the last four days and still has finals Sunday, Feb. 9 at 6 p.m.
