The men’s and women’s golf teams competed at the Yellow Jacket Invitational on April 3-4. The men placed sixth and the women placed second. Senior Erika Fuentes logged a 156 (+16) and placed fifth overall. On the men’s side sophomore John Russell recorded a 147 (+7) placing seventh overall. The men’s golf team competed on April 7 at Saint Thomas Aquinas College. The men placed eighth overall.
The softball team competed in a double header against Southern New Hampshire on April 3. The women lost both games with scores of 0-2 and 0-1. The team was defeated on April 4 against Saint Anselm. The women won against Southern on April 7 with a score of 1-0. Ellen Fuda and Ciana Phillips both had three at bats and Isabella Milazzo struck out eight of the women on Southern’s team. Alexandra Deeter hit a homerun scoring the winning point. The women lost the double header on April 11 against Southern New Hampshire. The women won against Post University on April 13 with a score of 6-1. The softball team won one game against Assumption on April 15 with a score of 3-2.
The men’s lacrosse team played Saint Michael’s on April 5. The men were victorious with a score of 16-9. Eddie Baker led the Golden Knights scoring six of the points throughout the game. The men were defeated by Southern New Hampshire on April 11 with a score of 10-18. The men’s team won against Assumption on April 15 with a score of 23-12.
The baseball team won both games against Bloomfield on April 7. The men won the first game with a score of 3-2 and 8-4 the second game. Freshman Jack Griffin scored the final run of the second game. The men lost their double header on April 11 against Southern New Hampshire. The baseball team won against Saint Thomas Aquinas on April 12 with a final score of 14-8. The men lost another doubleheader against Le Moyne on April 15.
The women’s lacrosse team competed against Franklin Pierce on April 8 and won with a score of 19-8. Junior midfield Daria Bock and sophomore attack Lauren Pendergast led the Knights scoring five points each. The women’s team played Adelphi on April 12 and lost with a score of 6-17. The women were defeated by Assumption on April 15 with a score of 11-16.
The women’s and men’s track and field team traveled to Utica on April 8. The men placed seventh and the women placed ninth. Reese Casinelli placed second in the 400m along with Matthew Waruch placing second and third in the 800m and 1500m. On the women’s side, Zoe Harris placed fourth in the 400m. Both teams placed fifth at an RPI Under the Lights meet.
