David Alexander has been the Assistant Athletic Director for Communications for over 30 years and is moving on to work elsewhere in the Albany community. Alexander said in an interview that he is going to miss being on a college campus working with the students, faculty, and administration.
“It is bittersweet after being in the position for over 30 years,” Alexander says. Alexander has been and will forever be a Golden Knight.
He will be stepping down, and the position will be filled by Adrian Donnelly who has worked under Alexander for three years as the Coordinator of Athletic Communications. Donnelly said he is very excited for this opportunity and is thankful for his past experiences with Alexander to help with the position he has accepted.
“I have pride in being able to share the stories of student athletes on and off the field,” Donnelly said in an interview, enthusiastic to start his new position in the communications department.
