If there is something you care to talk to your friends about for even a minute, odds are, that it can quite easily become a news story. There is news all around us, and engaging in it improves lives! News is the way we are informed to make decisions, connect with other people, and for writers share our thoughts with open minds.
The Chronicle here at The College of Saint Rose stands as an outlet for students to practice freedom of expression and thought, and we could not be prouder of that fact. Informing the community, including the surrounding Pine Hills neighborhood, is something we take seriously. The editorial staff wants to take this day to encourage you to engage in many different forms of news; broadcast, to print, to social media links. All of these stand as a means to inform you, and when you’re an informed citizen, it becomes much easier to go about your daily life.
