Dagostino was one of 20 All-Stars among the 65 players who were invited to take part in the CBI throughout the last three days.?
The CBI is a major national basketball event that gathers the finest 64 senior men's basketball players from all of National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division II and Division III and National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Division I and Division II.??A consensus NCAA Division II All-American this past season and a two-time Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year, Dagostino was the top scorer for a 2007-08 Saint Rose squad that finished 23-8 and had five players who averaged double-figures.
He led the NE-10 in steals (2.52) and minutes (38.4), was second in assists (5.90), third in scoring (18.3), and fourth in both A:TO ratio (1.99) and FT% (88.8).?
Dagostino wound up his career fourth all-time in school annals with 559 assists and 242 steals. He finished in sixth place on the College's scoring chart with 1,629 career points and in third place with 245, 3-pointers. Furthermore, the two-time ESPN The Magazine first-team Academic All-American® is the lone player in the storied history of Saint Rose men's basketball to accumulate 1,500 points, 500 assists and 200 steals.
