Students, professors and family members of both crowded the Picotte Hall Gallery this past Friday night. The Undergraduate Art Show opening reception attracted art students and those of other majors to downtown Albany. Many of the pieces from the show leaped out at the viewer, including the poster of the event.

Shappy Seasholtz and Cristin O'Keefe Aptowicz will be at the visiting writers reading series, Frequency North, at 7:30 p.m. for a night of "aggressively eclectic" slam poetry readings and comedy.
