Having fun without electricity may seem like a thing of the past to many living in this age of technology, yet on February 21, the Environmental Club plans on showing The College of Saint Rose campus that you can enjoy yourself while being environmentally friendly at the same time throughout the night.
While Ken Scott's duties on campus offer a variety of people and situations of which to interact, his job allows him the opportunity to live out his passion of doing for others. "The best part of my job is the people I am able to connect to," Scott said.

With the upcoming Relay for Life on The College of Saint Rose campus, Upsilon Iota has brought a new way of fundraising into effect. The communications honor society has come up with the plan to help you produce "Around the World" videograms. These videograms are ways to send digital messages to your loved ones for five dollars and on February 21 between 10 a.
In the field of education, the job opportunities are endless. Jobs range from teachers to careers outside of the classrooms, such as directors and administrators. Carl Heiner, Professor of Special Education at The College of Saint Rose, has done all of that and more in his career.
At this point last year, Marcy Hendricks, a freshman Criminal Justice major, was wearing flip-flops and shorts and was spending her free weekends at the beach with her friends. Hendricks has lived her entire life, until now, in Fullerton, California, 25 minutes east of the Pacific Ocean and five minutes from Disneyland.
The HEOP (The Higher Education Opportunity Program) and ACCESS Programs are relatively unknown around The College of Saint Rose campus; most people say they never heard the name before. The ACCESS Program was created in order to help students who do not meet the academic standards of Saint Rose.
