When last January rolled around, it was apparently decided that on every sixth day, there would be a political debate. The most recent debate took place on CNN, and was hosted by Wolf Blitzer, whose last name sounds like one of Santa's backup reindeer.
Behold the lone giraffe. How you must marvel at him. How you must adore and revel in delight as you witness him lumbering across the abundant savannah. Even the sun that slowly ascends over the Eastern horizon must do so solely to light his path more clearly.
It's been a banner year for visual filmmaking. First "300" showed us that every frame of a film could stand alone as a work of art, and now "Beowulf" has made animated films bad-ass again. In case you were curious, the last truly bad-ass animated film was "Batman: Mask of the Phantasm.
Allow me to interject a bit of a personal bias in this week's album review. The summer of 2004, the one before I began attending classes at the College of Saint Rose, I still attempted to watch music videos. This was also when the music station Fuse was still part of basic cable, and they still showed a lot of music videos.
