The case involving a first-year Saint Rose student who arrested after falsely reporting a crime in late October has been adjourned but is still pending. The next court date will be February 16.
Jessica Waffle said that two men entered her Brubacher Hall dormitory room, stole personal items, and attempted to sexually assault her. Waffle was arrested on November 9, after an investigation conducted by University Police Department. She faces a misdemeanor charge, and if convicted, she could receive a one-year jail sentence, or a maximum fine of $1,000.
Waffle's lawyer, Craig Krist, had no comment.
According to Dennis McDonald, Vice President for Student Affairs, Waffle will not be returning as a student at The College of Saint Rose.
