Nothing New at Fox News: Poster Boy May be More of a Provocative Boy.

The host of number-one cable “news” program “The O’Reilly Factor” is being well-protected by the network, whose former president, Roger Ailes, resigned amid sexual assault accusations.

O’Reilly has faced similar accusations, prompting $13 million in payouts from him and his employer, 21st Century Fox, to five accusers, according to the New York Times.

Don’t fret, Fox viewers. The host’s special knack for reading exactly what his graphics already say will be protected for the time being. Why? Because he’s a huge money maker.

Much like the president they so openly support, Fox casts women aside in favor of higher profit margins.

As if Fox News’ credibility could get any worse, they are faced with a major dilemma: fire the other man accused of sexual assault, or alienate women throughout the organization and country.

However, Fox will do what Fox does best. Get ready to watch O’Reilly continue to degrade progressives, minorities and especially women from his bully pulpit.

This isn’t the first scandal involving O’Reilly. O’Really, you say? Yes.

Just last week, O’Reilly ridiculed Democratic Representative from California Maxine Waters for her hair, calling it a “James Brown wig,” and saying it prevented him from listening to what she said.

This was a two-birds-one-stone moment for O’Reilly. He disparaged a black woman for her looks while she spoke about African-Amerian issues.

Misogyny and racism in one, the Bill O’Reilly special.
