The GK Shop is officially open for business, or a lack thereof! The GK Shop aims to assist students by providing certain necessities for free. The program is run by Joan Horgan and Saint Rose Community Service. They offer different snacks and food items as well as hygienic must-haves like menstruation products and deodorant.

In addition to these, they also have a rack of clothing for student use. Firstly, the idea was to provide professional clothing for interviews, but now they are starting to expand to more casual wear to fill students’ needs.

Andrea Mendoza has been involved in community service since her freshman year, “Me and a friend were going to fix up a pantry and Meg helped us brainstorm ways to bring it on campus, especially with covid.”

The shop is located just outside of Camelot in the EAC, it is open Tuesdays 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and Wednesdays 11 a.m. to 3 p.m..
