Chair of the Saint Rose Board of Trustees Judith Calogero has resigned from her post, the College said Tuesday.

“Judith Calogero has advised the Board of Trustees of her resignation as chair and as a trustee,” the College said in an email statement to the Chronicle, “We thank her for her many years of service to Saint Rose. The Board of Trustees plans to meet this week to elect a successor.”

Calogero, a Saint Rose alumna, became Chair of the Board of Trustees in June 2014, according to a LinkedIn profile. She did not answer a phone call from the Chronicle on Tuesday.

An Albany Business Journal article from July of 2014 says Calogero became a trustee in 2007. She led the committee that chose Carolyn Stefanco as President of the College and worked with committees involved with investments, financial affairs, and fundraising, the article said.

Three other Trustees have resigned in recent weeks, according to Saint Rose Professor Kathleen Crowley. Trustee Michael Miller resigned on Sunday, the same day as Calogero. It is unclear when the other two Trustees, Greg Serio and Tim Fenton resigned.

The College did not comment on the other resignations Tuesday.
