Elisa Holloran Designs at 229 Lark St. was attempted to be robbed on the afternoon of Sunday Oct. 20. The shop sells handmade jewelry as well as the work of many local artists.
When officers arrived the owner reported that a male entered the store armed with a knife and demanded money. The victim stated she chased the suspect from the store and he fled without any proceeds.
The suspect was described as a black male in his 30’s wearing a hooded sweatshirt.
The investigation is still ongoing and anyone with information is asked to call the Albany Police Detective Division at 462-8039.
